Description
Sweet White Miso or Shiro Miso in Japanese, is a short fermented miso style that is sweet, savoury and light. This style of miso used to be reserved for royalty due to the high percentage of Koji rice used in the making of the miso. Fresh Shiro Miso, that is unpasteurised and not treated with alcohol to make it shelf stable, is very hard to find, even in Japan and so we feel privileged to be able to present this very special and unique product.
Ingredients: White Rice, Soy Beans, Salt, Koji Starter (Aspergillus Oryzae)
